The included 6.25-inch wireless subwoofer adds rich, impactful bass while giving you greater placement flexibility without running an audio cable between the sound bar and subwoofer. Yamaha's Bass Extension feature can add even more low-frequency presence when desired.
Clear Dialogue & Customized Sound
Yamaha Clear Voice technology enhances dialogue so voices are easier to hear during movies and TV shows. Four selectable sound modes—Stereo, Standard, Movie and Game—let you tailor the listening experience to different types of entertainment.
Simple TV & Bluetooth Connectivity
Connect the SR-B40A to a compatible TV using HDMI eARC/ARC or optical digital, while HDMI-CEC allows basic operation using a compatible TV remote. Built-in Bluetooth makes it easy to stream music, podcasts and other audio from compatible devices.
The Yamaha Sound Bar Remote app provides additional control from a compatible smartphone or tablet, and the sound bar can also be wall mounted for a clean installation.
