You can also install extensions that block analytics tracking on your browser. Specifically, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to block Google Analytics tracking.

• User content available publicly: If you provide us with user-generated content, such as reviews or feedback, it may be posted on our Site, and your name and similar personal information may be available publicly.
• Personal information shared for legal and compliance purposes: We may be required to disclose personal information to comply with legal requirements, such as responding to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request. This may include sharing personal information with law enforcement agencies if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or violations of our Terms of Service.
• Personal information shared in connection with rights protection: We may disclose personal information to enforce our Terms of Service, protect our operations, and safeguard our rights, privacy, safety, or property, or those of our users and others.
• Personal information shared in connection with a business transaction: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy involving RockOnAV and other companies, personal information may be transferred as part of the business assets. We may engage in Shopify Audiences, interest-based, or other advertising that makes use of your behavior on our Site and across other websites. We may also share with them the analytics and usage information we have gathered, and they may use it to market or remarket our products to you on our Site and across other websites you visit.

California Consumer Opt-out

California Consumers have the right to opt out of the "sale" of their personal information, which under the CCPA/CPRA includes the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. You can exercise this right by clicking the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link located on our website footer, using the cookie banner or setting on the Site, or contacting us.

EMAIL MARKETING

We may send marketing emails to your email address based on your consent. These emails may include things like promotions, offers, and new products we think may catch your interest. Your consent to email marketing may be obtained when you tick the email newsletter form on the Contact and Order checkout pages. You have the right to opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe instructions in any of the emails you receive from us. Please note that opting out of email newsletters does not prevent us from sending administrative messages, such as order updates and changes to our policies.

SMS UPDATES

We may send updates and information about your orders to your submitted phone number. By submitting your phone number, you consent to receive such messages. We do not share your phone number with third parties under any circumstances.

SECURITY OF INFORMATION

RockOnAV understands how important your privacy is, and we ensure adequate protection is applied to the personal information we collect when you purchase from us. We use both technical and traditional methods of security, including using trusted third-party service providers. Your payment method information, including your card details, is collected and used directly by Stripe, our reputable third-party payment processor, only to charge you the order amount.

However, be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security.” In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use insecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to our Site.

RETENTION OF INFORMATION

How long we retain personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your orders, provide our products and services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.

We retain personal information in our database for the duration of your use of our Site, specifically until you request the deletion. Once you request that we delete your information, we retain the information you submit and everything associated with your orders for 30 days before we permanently delete it. However, we may retain personal information for legal and audit purposes. We may also retain aggregated data for internal use.

CROSS-BORDER TRANSFER

Please note that we may process, transfer, and store personal information about you outside the United States. This may be in connection with third-party service providers providing certain tasks for us from locations outside of the United States. However, we ensure these transfers are done in accordance with applicable laws.

YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

You have the rights below in relation to the information we collect about you. However, these rights are not absolute, and they may apply only in certain circumstances, and, in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.

• Right to access/know/correct: You may have a right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, including details relating to how we use and share it, as well as correcting any inaccurate information. You may view the information we hold about you and correct it by accessing your account. You may also contact us.
• Right to delete: You may have a right to request that we delete the personal information we maintain about you. You can request deletion by contacting us using the Contact Us section below.
• Right of portability: You may have a right to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to request that we transfer it to a third party, in certain circumstances and with certain exceptions.
• Restriction of processing: You may have the right to ask us to stop or restrict our processing of certain personal information.
• Withdrawal of consent: Where we rely on consent to process your information, you may have the right to withdraw this consent.
• Right to appeal: You may have a right to appeal our decision if we decline to process your request. You can do so by replying directly to our denial.
• Right to opt out of sale: RockOnAV does not currently engage in practices regarded as the sale or sharing of personal information for monetary consideration. However, users from Nevada can opt out of any future sale of their information by emailing us at sale@rockonav.com.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to collect information from you to verify your identity, such as your email address or account information, before providing a substantive response to the request. In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

In addition to the rights above, California Consumers may have the additional rights below:

• You may have a right to direct us to limit our use and/or disclosure of sensitive personal information to only what is necessary to provide our products.

DO NOT TRACK

CHILDREN’S POLICY

Our Site and services are not intended to be used by individuals below 18 years of age (children), and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children.
