iFi SilentPower LAN iSilencer 4/8/12

The SilentPower LAN iSilencer 4/8/12 is a multi-port Ethernet conditioner designed to reduce electrical noise and interference in high-end audio, home theater, and professional AV networks. Available in 4-, 8-, and 12-channel configurations, it provides dedicated isolation for multiple network connections within a single chassis.

Each input/output pair uses transformer-based galvanic isolation to provide up to 1500Vrms of electrical isolation, helping reduce ground-loop noise and common-mode interference. Passive RF filtering further reduces high-frequency interference that can travel alongside network data.

Built-in Transient Voltage Suppression provides up to 400W peak transient protection on each isolated connection, while Gigabit Ethernet support maintains network speeds up to 1000Mbps. The compact chassis is also compatible with SilentPower's optional OMNI RACK Mount Kit for integration into professional and custom AV installations.

Galvanic Isolation 

Each network channel uses transformer-based galvanic isolation to electrically separate connected endpoint devices from the wider network. With isolation rated at 1500Vrms, the design helps reduce ground-loop noise and common-mode electrical interference without interrupting Ethernet data transmission.

Passive RF Filtering

Passive filtration follows the galvanic isolation stage to reduce high-frequency RF interference that may remain on the network connection, helping provide a cleaner signal path for sensitive network-connected audio and AV equipment.

Transient Voltage Protection

Each isolated input/output pair incorporates Transient Voltage Suppression designed to help protect connected equipment against sudden voltage spikes and surges, with peak transient protection rated at 400W.

4-, 8- & 12-Channel Configurations

The LAN iSilencer is available in 4-In/4-Out, 8-In/8-Out, and 12-In/12-Out versions, allowing the appropriate number of isolated network connections to be selected for systems ranging from dedicated audio installations to larger custom AV networks.
