iFi xDSD Gryphon

The iFi xDSD Gryphon is a high-performance portable DAC and headphone amplifier designed to deliver powerful, high-resolution listening from smartphones, computers, streamers, and other digital or analogue sources. Its Burr-Brown True Native® DAC supports PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512, while the PureWave analogue stage delivers more than 1,000mW into 32Ω through the balanced 4.4mm output.

With USB-C, Bluetooth 5.1, S/PDIF, and analogue inputs, the xDSD Gryphon can connect to everything from smartphones and laptops to CD players, network streamers, DAPs, and external DACs. Its OLED display provides clear information on input, format, sample rate, volume, and battery status.

For headphones and IEMs, the xDSD Gryphon offers iEMatch for sensitive in-ear monitors, XBass II for analogue bass and presence adjustment, and XSpace for soundstage enhancement. This combination allows it to accommodate everything from highly sensitive IEMs to demanding full-size and high-impedance headphones.

Desktop-Class Digital Conversion

The Burr-Brown True Native® DAC supports PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz, native DSD512, DXD, and full MQA decoding. PCM and DSD follow separate conversion paths, while selectable Bit-Perfect, Standard, and GTO digital filters provide additional control over digital playback.

Powerful Pure Wave Amplification

The PureWave analogue stage delivers more than 1,000mW into 32Ω through the 4.4mm balanced output, with up to 6.7V available into 600Ω. The 3.5mm S-Balanced output provides a powerful option for conventional headphones, while iEMatch helps optimize output for highly sensitive IEMs.

Extensive Wired & Wireless Connectivity

Bluetooth 5.1 supports aptX Adaptive, LDAC, aptX HD, HWA/LHDC, aptX Low Latency, AAC, aptX, and SBC. Wired connectivity includes USB-C and S/PDIF, while 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended analogue inputs allow the xDSD Gryphon to function as a headphone amplifier with compatible analogue sources.

Tailored Listening Control

XBass II provides analogue Bass and Presence adjustment, while XSpace enhances soundstage presentation. The OLED display shows key playback information including input, format, sample rate, volume, and battery status, with iFi's SilentLine technology designed to isolate the display circuitry from the audio signal path.
