Description
The iFi xCAN is a powerful portable headphone amplifier designed to add more drive and flexibility to smartphones, DAPs, and other audio sources. Its dual-mono amplifier delivers up to 1,000mW through the 2.5mm balanced output, providing enough power for headphones ranging from 16Ω to 600Ω.
Bluetooth provides convenient wireless playback using an ESS Sabre DAC with jitter-reduction technology, while 2.5mm balanced and 3.5mm S-Balanced analogue inputs support wired sources. XBass II and 3D+ provide analogue sound enhancement for bass response and soundstage.
A built-in 2,200mAh battery provides up to 18 hours of analogue playback or approximately 12 hours when using Bluetooth, with charging through USB-C.
Powerful Balanced Amplification
The dual-mono amplifier delivers up to 1,000mW at 32Ω through the 2.5mm balanced output, providing substantial power for portable, planar magnetic, and high-impedance headphones.
Bluetooth Playback
Bluetooth allows wireless playback from compatible smartphones, tablets, computers, and TVs. The Bluetooth signal is converted through an ESS Sabre ES9023 DAC rather than relying entirely on the Bluetooth chipset for audio conversion.
XBass II & 3D+
XBass II provides analogue bass and presence correction, while 3D+ is designed to create a more spacious, speaker-like headphone presentation. Both operate in the analogue domain rather than using DSP.
