The iFi GO pod is a true wireless Bluetooth DAC/headphone amplifier designed for listeners who want to use their favorite wired IEMs without giving up dedicated hi-fi audio circuitry. Instead of replacing your IEMs with conventional true wireless earbuds, the GO pod attaches directly to compatible detachable-cable IEMs and provides Bluetooth reception, dedicated DAC conversion, and amplification in each pod.

Unlike conventional TWS earbuds that typically integrate Bluetooth, DAC, and amplification functions within a single system-on-chip, the GO pod uses separate stages for each. Qualcomm Bluetooth processing is combined with dedicated Cirrus Logic MasterHIFI DACs and independent amplification to create a more specialized wireless audio signal path.

By separating Bluetooth reception, DAC conversion, and amplification rather than relying on a single-chip audio solution, the GO pod is designed to deliver higher-quality wireless playback from compatible IEMs.

Automatic Impedance Detection

The GO pod automatically detects the impedance of the connected IEM and selects the most appropriate setting from 16Ω, 32Ω, 64Ω, or 300Ω. Output is then matched automatically to accommodate IEMs with different electrical requirements.

High-Resolution Bluetooth

The GO pod supports LDAC and LHDC/HWA up to 32-bit/96kHz, along with aptX Adaptive, aptX, AAC, and SBC. LDAC supports bitrates up to 990kbps on compatible devices, providing high-resolution wireless playback from supported smartphones and other Bluetooth sources.

Wireless IEM Conversion

The GO pod connects directly to compatible detachable-cable IEMs using interchangeable ear loops. 0.78mm 2-Pin and MMCX ear loops are included, while Pentaconn Ear, T2, and A2DC options are available separately, allowing the GO pod to work with a wide range of premium IEMs.
