Before diving into purchasing this item, I did my research looking for an excellent Bluetooth headphone. I was looking at Mark Levinson, Sennheiser, Denon, and Sonos headphones, but this brand, Focal Bathys, intrigued me as I never heard of such a company before. You can say I'm an "enthusiast" level audiophile person. So, I wanted to have a "test drive" of the product first before committing. I don't want to buy it online and later on regret getting it. So I drove down to RockonAV HQ in Irvine to check it out. I was greeted by the owner of this store Mr. Maxwell and he ushered me to a special listening room dedicated to headphones only. I was impressed with their store as it was so clean and organized. It looks more like a "showroom" than an actual store. Mr. Maxwell had me sit in the stool while he prepared me the "test' Focal Bathys Bluetooth headphone. He helped me connect it to my phone and tried it. I was blown away by the sound coming from this headphone. It sounds so AMAZING! The highs, mids, and lows were all there and the clarity is unparalleled in my opinion. Even the most minute sounds coming from live music I could hear from this headphone. I was solely convinced, so right on the spot I purchased on for myself. After owning it, I never looked back at any other brand. I'd like to thank the folks at RockonAV for the red carpet VIP treatment. Something I never experienced from an audio store. RockonAV..ROCKS in my books!
