ES9038Pro DAC

The DAC-Z8's digital-to-analog conversion stage is powered by a high-performance ESS ES9038Pro chip. This assures little distortion and noise, resulting in a really believable high-fidelity music experience. Furthermore, the DAC-Z8's audio circuitry has been carefully adjusted to maximize its performance.

XMOS XU316: USB Interface

The DAC-Z8's USB input is paired with an XMOS XU316 interface, which can handle audio data rapidly and efficiently to provide excellent signal transfer. This chip also supports high-resolution streams such as PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512 Native, and MQA files.

MQA

The EverSolo DAC-Z8 decodes MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) files via its USB, Toslink optical, and coaxial inputs. This format allows you to experience sound quality that is as near to the original studio recording as possible.

High-Precision Clocks

The DAC-Z8 has two highly precise clocks at 45.1584MHz and 49.152MHz. These enable high-quality decoding with very low jitter, resulting in detailed and exact sound.

Optimized I/V Circuit

The DAC-Z8's I/V circuit consists of 8 OPA1612 OPAs. It uses multi-channel signal shunting compensation technology, with the 8 OPAs corresponding to the 8 output channels of the I/V converter stage, resulting in a two-channel parallel output. In addition to the high-precision resistors, this circuitry helps with the lossless amplification of the XLR, RCA, and headphone outputs, which improves channel separation, dynamic range, and sound integrity.

Amplifier Circuit with Balanced Preamp Output

The DAC-Z8's analog audio circuitry is completely balanced. A balanced differential amplifier circuit processes the XLR, RCA, and headphone outputs, resulting in lower noise and increased channel separation. The high-fidelity preamplifier circuitry ensures accurate and efficient volume control.

Bluetooth 5.0

Digital DSP Filters

The EverSolo DAC-Z8 has no fewer than 7 PCM filters and 4 DSD filters. These enable you to customize the device's sound reproduction based on your audio setup and listening preferences.

Headphone Amplifier

The DAC-Z8's headphone amplifier provides ample power for headphones with impedances ranging from 16 to 300Ω. This model also includes a two-step gain control to handle both demanding headphones and more delicate earphones.

Control App

The DAC-Z8 may be managed using the EverSolo Control App, which is free and available for Android and iOS. The latter provides access to the majority of the characteristics available on the device.
