The DENAFRIPS IRIS 15TH is a dedicated Digital-to-Digital Converter (DDC) engineered to optimise digital signal transmission between modern digital sources and high-performance DACs. Designed to reduce timing errors, electrical noise and signal degradation, the IRIS 15TH reconstructs and reclocks incoming digital audio before delivering a cleaner, more stable signal to compatible digital-to-analogue converters. It builds on more than fifteen years of DENAFRIPS digital engineering while introducing a redesigned aluminium chassis and updated internal architecture.
At its core, the IRIS 15TH combines proprietary FPGA digital signal processing, FIFO buffering and precision TCXO clock technology to regenerate digital audio with improved timing accuracy. Incoming USB audio is processed, reclocked and galvanically isolated before being transmitted through multiple digital outputs including I²S, AES/EBU, coaxial and optical connections.
