The Chord Electronics Suzi Amp is a compact modular stereo power amplifier that brings technology from Chord's flagship ULTIMA amplification platform into the Hugo range. Delivering 30 watts per channel into 8Ω, Suzi Amp can operate as a standalone stereo power amplifier or form the foundation of several compact Chord systems.

Its modular architecture allows direct integration with Suzi Pre, Hugo 2, or Hugo 2 with 2go, transforming the system from a traditional pre/power amplifier into a DAC/amplifier or complete streaming DAC/amplifier.

ULTIMA Amplifier Technology

A Truly Modular Chord System

One of Suzi Amp's most distinctive features is its modular construction. A removable solid-aluminum cover exposes connections that allow compatible Chord components to integrate directly with the amplifier.

Pair Suzi Pre with Suzi Amp to create a compact analog pre/power system with MM/MC phono capability and headphone amplification.

Add Hugo 2 instead and Suzi Amp becomes part of a high-resolution DAC/amplifier system. Add Hugo 2 and 2go, and the combination becomes a network streaming DAC/amplifier with Roon Endpoint and DLNA/UPnP functionality plus MicroSD music storage provided by 2go.

Flexible Standalone Operation

Suzi Amp can also be used independently as a conventional stereo power amplifier. It provides two sets of RCA connections, with one set reserved for Hugo 2 integration, along with 4 mm banana loudspeaker outputs.

A 12 V DC output is provided for compatible Chord Electronics components, while front-panel polychromatic controls provide access to power and AV-bypass functionality.

When Suzi Amp is directly combined with Suzi Pre or Hugo 2, 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm headphone pass-through remains available through the connected component.
