The Chord Electronics Mojo 2 is a compact, battery-powered DAC and headphone amplifier designed to deliver high-performance digital audio at home or on the move. Now updated with a 4.4 mm headphone output, Mojo 2 combines Chord's proprietary FPGA-based digital conversion, powerful headphone amplification, advanced UHD DSP, and flexible digital connectivity in a pocket-sized aluminum chassis.

Supporting high-resolution audio up to 768 kHz PCM and DSD256, Mojo 2 connects easily to smartphones, tablets, computers, digital audio players, and other compatible digital sources.

Advanced FPGA DAC Technology

At the heart of Mojo 2 is Chord's powerful custom-coded FPGA processor, rather than a conventional off-the-shelf DAC chipset. Its improved WTA filtering uses 40 DSP cores to deliver greater transparency, lower noise, and highly accurate digital reconstruction.

Mojo 2 also features Chord's UHD DSP, an advanced digital tone-control system that allows listeners to adjust tonal balance to better suit different headphones, recordings, and personal preferences. Adjustable crossfeed provides additional control over the headphone listening experience.

4.4mm Headphone Connectivity

The updated Mojo 2 features both 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm headphone outputs, providing direct compatibility with a wider range of modern audiophile headphones and cables without requiring a separate 4.4 mm adapter.

Despite its compact size, Mojo 2 delivers substantial headphone-driving capability, with 600 mW into 30Ω and 90 mW into 300Ω, while supporting headphones with impedances up to 800Ω.

Flexible Digital Connectivity

Mojo 2 provides five digital inputs, including USB-C, Micro-USB, optical, coaxial, and dual-data coaxial connectivity. The updated USB-C connection supports both high-speed data and switchable charging, while a dedicated Micro-USB charging input provides additional flexibility.

For wireless playback, Mojo 2 can be paired with the optional Chord Electronics Poly, adding Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay, Roon Ready functionality, and MicroSD music playback.
