Refreshed for 2021, the Bluesound Powernode presents a clean, rich performance and is perfect for powering your premium, stereo speakers. Retaining all the good stuff from the original Powernode, this new iteration offers an impressive 80 watts per channel, Quad-Core 1.8ghz ARM® Cortex™ A53 Processor and 32-bit/ 384khz DAC.

Powerful Performance
Packing in 80 watts per channel of HybridDigital™ amplification technology (into 8 Ohms), the Bluesound Powernode offers a rich and smooth performance even at higher listening levels and is the perfect accompaniment to your bookshelf, floor-standing or even custom-install speakers.
Run by Bluesound’s Quad-Core 1.8ghz ARM® Cortex™ A53 processor, the Powernode now runs up to 8 times faster than previous generations, improving the user experience and future-proofing you for any upcoming BluOS software updates.
TV and Multi-Room Functionality
The Bluesound Powernode has an inbuilt ARC/ eARC port, allowing you to connect this to a TV for Dolby Digital surround sound. An IR sensor on the front of the Powernode allows you to tie in your TV remote with the system for ease of control, allowing you to change the volume using the remote as well as your phone. If you’re looking to create a larger surround system, the Powernode can be incorporated into a 5.1 surround sound system using the Pulse Soundbar and Pulse Sub.
You’ll also be able to make use of voice assistant technology by linking your Powernode to Siri, Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant using the BluVoice skill. Outside of the BluOS app, you’ll also be able to utilise Apple Airplay 2, aptX HD Bluetooth or USB/ Network-connected drive to play your audio content through.
Hi-Res, HD Audio Quality
If Hi-Res audio quality is important to you, the Bluesound Powernode could be the perfect streaming amplifier for you. Effortlessly drive your favourite choice of speakers with the same zero-distortion audio signature sound that Bluesound has become known for. The Bluesound Powernode takes your favourite tracks to new levels.
A newly designed, audiophile approved DAC allows you to stream 24-bit/ 192kHz Hi-Res audio from multiple wired and streaming services. Popular services such as Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, SiriusXM and more are all supported. The Powernode is also Roon Ready.
Design and Set-Up
Top panel touch control with proximity sensors that will light up when you get close to it. The top panel design is very neat, with a sliding touch volume control, play/ pause and 5 LED touch points at the top that you can assign favourite stations, playlists and inputs to for easy control.
The Powernode comes complete with a range of connection options alongside wireless streaming and HDMI ARC/eARC, including TOSLINK and Analogue. Set up with speakers is relatively simple, with the left and right speakers in the pair just connecting to the right and left speaker terminals using a 2-core speaker cable. A Subwoofer Out connection is also supported if you wish to use a third party Sub.
